Thank you to the Southington Community
2007 was a banner year for the Calvanese
Foundation. We achieved a great milestone through the netted
proceeds of $84,000.00 from the Gala, “An Evening in the
Rainforest”. We surpassed the $1,000,000.00 mark for raising funds
for the Southington Community. We would like to thank all of our
generous donors who donated good or services to our Auction. It is
only with the help of individuals and businesses like yourself that
we are able to make a difference in our community.
We allocated $94,000.00 in grants to charities
and other programs in the Southington Community in 2007. We have
touched a broad spectrum of people as shown by the below list of
disbursements. The remainder of the funds raised has been placed in
our permanent endowment. We are committed to strengthening the
endowment to ensure that we will remain a permanent funding source
for future generations in our community.
